Our families recently watched your interview on Sunday’s Q+A. In the interview you said there were no concerns in Taranaki as a result of hydraulic fracturing. We believe you are seriously mistaken.
Hydraulic fracturing is part of the oil and gas industries drilling and production processes. Many serious incidents relating to the drilling and production process including hydraulic fracturing have occurred in Taranaki. They have placed our families, communities, livelihoods, and environment at risk and continue to do so.
